TECHNICAL
Urick Foundry utilizes the delayed inmold process in the production
of all grades of Ductile Iron castings. This process is designed
to provide optimal consistency of metallurgical properties as well
as superior machinability. We have been very successful in reducing
our customer’s cost by converting steel castings, forgings, stampings,
or fabrications to Ductile Iron castings. To provide higher strengths
we can supply all grades of Austempered Ductile Iron (ADI). Every
single casting produced by Urick is tested with a resonant frequency
test machine to insure that the % nodularity will exceed the SAE
specifications. We are ISO 9001:2000
certified and have a history of providing unparalleled service
and quality.
